A Short Story Rehan Koushik

: Rehan Koushik is now a well-known name in the ambit of Bengali literature. Although he started life as a journalist he left journalism for creative writing. Currently writing is his passion and profession.

He mainly writes research-based novels apart from short stories, poems and lyrics.

Some of his notable books are Roopmati, Chitrakar, Tepantarer Swapno, Sada jahaj ebong holud projapoti, Dhyan aar dhulor bhaskarja, Ore chithi tomar shahore, Holud haaoyaar chithi, Ei aayu, ei andhokaar, Krisnachura o nadir galpo etc. 

He has got many recognitions like Basudeb Deb Sangsad Samman(2014), IBRAD Samman (2016), Renuka Smriti Sahitya Samman (2018), Terminus Samman(2019), Shabdo Sanko Samman(2020) and Rendezvous Samman (2020)from Bangladesh.

Tathagata Chakraborty: Born in 1966 in a village of South 24 Parganas,   Tathagata moved to Kolkata in early seventies and graduated in science from St. Xavier's college.

After a brief stint in engineering services outside Bengal, he joined Government of West Bengal and still working. He is a passionate reader of literature and likes to express himself in different forms of literature.

A Short Story by Baby Shaw

Baby Shaw is a versatile author and scholar with MA degrees in Bengali and English literature from Kolhan University, Jharkhand. Currently pursuing a PhD in Modern Poetry, she is a prolific poet, essayist, and translator. Shaw has authored 15 poetry books with established publishers, two essay collections, and a book of free prose. She has also translated works by poets like Bek Seok, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Ibn Arabi. An editorial team member of Abahaman, she received the Bangla Academy Award in 2020 for her work Kandnageet: Sangraha O Itibritto, a comprehensive study of plaintive women's songs from southeastern West Bengal.

: Sri Abhijit Tarafder, the author, started writing short stories since his school days. First short story 'Protiprova' was published in the 'Desh' - in 1993. Subsequently authored more than 100 short stories and 20 odd novels which are compiled in 'Panchashti Golpo' and 'Doshti Uponyas' by Ananda Publishers.

Dr. Biswajit Chattopadhyay is a practising cardiac physician based in Kolkata for last 40 years. Besides his busy professional career, he is a writer for many decades, writing both in
Bengali and English languages.
Among his 23 published work, he has been awarded the maiden Bangla Kobita Academy
Puroskar in 2003 for his poetry book Majhe Majhe Kar Kachhe Jabo & Utpal Kumar Basu
Smriti Puroskar in 2019 for his poetry book Shashanker Mrityu Nei.
He also edited a few magazines named Kolkata 2000(Bengali), Paakdandi (Bengali),
Scorpion(English) & Hornbill (English).
He is now working on his new fiction and some experimental sonnets in Bengali and English.
